Trey guns the engines and starts cranking out some filth as Fishman goes absolutely ham behind him, and the band hits a pretty good peak, then Trey switches to chords and they enter "Manteca"-adjacent territory. The improv grows darker-tinged and more late-night energy, but Fish never relents in his percussive assault, giving the jam's second half a real interesting flavor. Damn good stuff, sir.
