While the 1st is typical 3.0 stuff, and the transition unusual, all is forgiven as the 2nd jam begins in classic "Mike's" rocking and rhythmic playing before settling. After 10:30 the jam develops a dark and introspective bent, and Trey's time "in the woodshed" before the FTW concerts is noticeable in his soloing.
